Joe Horten Combo
This band is crossing a line toward a realm of unknown rockn roll mania where Elvis Presley is found guilty of blowing the wood flute. Were talking about the Joe Horten Combo astonishing the masses since 1998. These three guys from the plains of Friesland enter the stage and make an h-bomb explosion feel like the draft of a ceiling fan in a small-town barber shop. Electroguitars are loaded and desafetied while the giant upright bass is dodging to the front, which is keen-eyedly covering the oncoming drums being the backbone of these invincible troopers. Like three Gary Oldmans with unable to control their twitching cheek muscles, Harry Beau Horten, Ted Z. Love & Ronny Mellow D. fire their rockn roll ammunition into a crowd accepting its fate like suicidal lemmings, shot and wounded yet moaning for more.
Like the Marx Brothers of rockn roll, this combo is dashing, jumping, twitching and fuzzing around the stage, spelling out the message of a long-ago era, which, unlike today, brought forth many heroes of men. This combo has already become a legend in its time. Come, see & listen ...
