Being one of the longest-serving German pop punk bands, THE HAWAIIANS are finally back with the new longplayer "Invading The Summer"! Once again these guys from Westerkappeln mix the RAMONES, JAN & DEAN and the REZILLOS on 15 brand new tracks, singing fervently of martians, racing drivers in love, hula astronauts and lonely Hawaiians. Among the musical guests are Jens Dance Hawaiian (ex-THE HAWAIIANS), Guido Knollmanm (DONOTS) and Dirk Herden (UNCIVIL GREEDING, SPANK and others). The album was mastered by none other than Perry Leenhouts from the Dutch surf pop punk legend THE TRAVOLTAS. Rounded off by an ingenious comic cover by Ole O 'Brian (THE EVIL O' BRIANS) "Invading The Summer" is a must-have for all poppunk and ramonescore fans.  more |
