Mad Men - Its a Mad Mad Word
One of our youngest and most talented groups come from Zagreb, Croatia.
You did not knew where Croatia is ? And you never heard a rockabilly band from Zagreb ? Now its time to open your mind. Wild, Desperate Rockabilly is wellknown and alive in former Yugoslavia. And the Mad Men are definitely the best band from Eastern Europe. They can mess with Scandinavian, Dutch, German even English bands: Wildfire Willie, Rusty Steel, Spo-Dee-O-Dee, Tinstar Trio but 15 years younger. The oldest band member is 26, the youngest 19 years old. 13 fantastic songs, well choosen covers like Mad, Mad World or Crazy, Crazy Lovin mixed with own originals, Intoxicated, Bop Sweet Suzie or Boo Hoo, just to name a few. If you like authentic 50s style Rock'n'Roll this one is somethin' for you. The boys tour all over europe and if you have the chance to see them live you will enjoy it.
OUT NOW! The Mad Men debut album titled "It's a Mad Mad World" out on the German Rhythm Bomb Records! The album was recorded in Berlin at Lightning Recording Service studio on vintage valve recording equipment for that cool 50's sound! The recording engeneer and the producer on this session was Ike Stoye from the Ike and the Capers and Spo-Dee-O-Dee fame.
THE MAD MEN IN PLAYBOY! The release of the bend's debut album "It's a Mad Mad World" is announced in Croatian eddition of Playboy magazine, May issue. In the future issues there'll be an album review and an article on the band.
